Father Ferdinand Okorie, C.M.F. is a member of the Claretian Missionaries, an assistant professor of New Testament and Early Christianity and the Director of Bible Study and Travel Programs at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He has been editor-in-chief of U.S. Catholic since July 2020.

Prior to coming to the magazine, she worked as the assistant director of communication for the Diocese of Burlington and assistant editor for Vermont Catholic magazine. Stephanie holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and a B.A. in Communication Studies from Saint Mary’s College and an M.A. from Catholic Theological Union, where she studied theology.

Sarah Butler joined U.S. Catholic in 2014 as assistant editor. Prior to joining the magazine team, Sarah was an editorial assistant at Chicago Magazine and Milwaukee Magazine, and was a writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center’s magazine Teaching Tolerance. She has a B.A. in Journalism and English from Marquette University.

René Ostberg joined U.S. Catholic in 2019. She previously worked as an assistant cookbook editor, copy editor, and proofreader at a number of Chicago-area companies. She has a B.A. in English from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
